Dear Cindy and Heather,
We were both very saddened to hear of the death of your dad and my Uncle Louis. As you know, he and Aunt Pat were my godparents and I am so sad that they are both gone now. Uncle Louis was a kind and warm person who was loved and respected by everyone who came into contact with him. It was always a pleasure to visit Uncle Louis as he always had a project or something new he was working on; he enjoyed being in the country and being able to keep a horse(s), and I especially recall going on the horse and buggy with him. Sincere and heartfelt sympathy to you both and your families on our sad loss, All Love Always, Cousin Tommy and Helen.

Our deepest sympathies from Matthew, Courtney, Ainsley, Bronwyn and Keaton in Ottawa. Uncle Louis as we all called him (but really great uncle Louis for me) was such a gregarious and gentle soul. I remember him being such a fun person to visit, always taking the time to joke with a kid (me at the time). I can conjure up his laughter during the games of 31 during our visits to Brockville even though I only understood a quarter of the punchlines, just the laughter would crack us up.
