Peacefully with his family by his side at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Monday May 12, 2008. Richard Allan Armstrong of Brockville (formerly of Manotick) age 64 years. Beloved husband of Donna Helen (Loney). Dear father of Kimberly Armstrong and her husband Bohne Forsberg of Alymer, QC, Karen Cotie and her husband James and Shannon Armstrong all of Brockville. Loving grandfather of Derrick Forsberg, Jade and Evan Cotie. Brother of Jack Armstrong and his wife Anita of Kingston and Bob Armstrong and his wife Anja of Manotick. Also survived by a brother-in-law Allan Loney of Ottawa and sisters-in-law Joan Cummings and her husband Mancel of Brockville, Marlene Ferguson of Kingston as well as several nieces and nephews and many good friends. Predeceased by his parents Earl Robert Armstrong and his wife Peninnah Elizabeth (Sloan) Armstrong, a nephew Jeffrey Armstrong and a sister-in-law Irma Armstrong. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. and on Friday May 16, 2008 from 2-4 p.m. The Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 4 p.m. Interment will be at a later date at All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Greely.
