Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Thursday May 1, 2008 . William (Bill) Raymond Shaw of Brockville and Rideau Lake, age 78 years. Beloved husband of the former Anna Grace McLaren. Dear father of Bruce Shaw and his wife Gail of Castleton, Bob Shaw and his wife Linda of Banff, Alberta, Brent Shaw and his wife Kathy of Willow Beach and Susan Shaw and her husband Steve of Stittsville. Loving and devoted grandfather of Blake, Christopher, Rebecca, Laura and Lyndi Shaw, Daniel, Adrienne and Robin Creighton. Brother of Marjorie Walker of Lombardy, Gertrude Paul and Ken Shaw and his wife Denise all of Brockville. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a granddaughter Anna Nicole Shaw, his parents Harold and Zetta Hunter Shaw, brothers Burton and Russell Shaw and a sister Hazel Shaw in infancy. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Bill's life will be held in Westminster Presbyterian Church, Smiths Falls on Wednesday May 7th, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment will be held in Maple Vale Cemetery, Smiths Falls.
