Obituary of Joan Horton

With heavy hearts at home with her loving family by her side Joan Horton entered into a peaceful rest after a courageous battle, filled with strength and grace. Mom has gone home to heaven to be reunited with our Dad on January 31, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Donald Ross Horton. Dear mother of Donna Whitford (Blain) of Kingston, Irene Lappan (Ed), Helen Moore (David), Tim Horton (Golda) all of Lansdowne, Christine Morrow (Wayne) of Lyn. Loving grandmother of Kevin, Patrick (Casey), Christopher, Brieanna, Amelia, Emily, Alyssa. Great Grandmother to Lennox and Stella. Sister to Gerry Bradford (Sandy), Norman (Donna), Debbie Carson (Rick), sister-in-law to Adeline Abraham (late Edward) and Ila Latimer (late Gerald). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Leonard Shaw and Janet Bolton and sister-in-law's Velma Grier (Bob) and Thelma Rogers (Bud).
