Beloved husband of Helga (Bratz) Gommert. Loving father of Andrea Derochie, Roger (Juanita), Ronald and Michael Gommert (Debora). Cherished grandfather of Rachel (Andrew), Nicole, Catherine (Rob), Jordan and his great grandchildren Elizabeth and Farrell. Predeceased by his parents Paul and Charlotte Gommert and a sister Marianne Winter. A Memorial Service in honour of Werner will be held at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday January 3, 2020 at 1 p.m. In memory of Werner, donations to Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
