Dear Carol, Mark and extended family,
I was saddened to hear of John's passing. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
I have some fond memories of John (Johnny) from when I was a young man and chummed around with Mark. I actually would think of him from time to time when I would see a Purple Martin house in someone's yard. I remember when John told me all about their yearly migration. I recall also the visits when we would convince Mark to get out his accordion. He hated when I would do that to him. John would have proud smile as Mark played his rendition of "Lady of Spain".
I remember the taxidermy rabbit head with the antlers. I think John had me believing it was real for some time.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
