MOORHOUSE, Ellen Alice “Marie”

Entered into rest at St. Lawrence Lodge on Thursday October 10, 2019. Marie (Rowsome) Moorhouse of Brockville and formerly of Glen Buell, aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Moorhouse. Loving mother of Lynda Simpson (John) and Bruce of Brockville, Dale of St. Thomas and Randy (Pam) of Brockville. Cherished grandmother of Kelly Simpson, Kyal Simpson (Amy), Allison Grange (Mitch), Scott Moorhouse, Curtis Gardiner and Michael Dunn (Marija); and great grandmother of 14. Dear sister of Helen Renkema (the late Nelson) and sister-in-law of Muriel Gingras (the late Hector). Daughter of the late Howard and Dora (Barton) Rowsome.  Also missed by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday October 17th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.  Interment at Oakland Cemetery. In memory of Marie, donations to the St. Lawrence Lodge Foundation or Centennial Road Church would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
