Dear Monteith Family, Recently I discovered your dad’s last name, and realized he was this adorable man, that I regularly enjoyed when volunteering at Garden Street. Missed him so much after he moved on. We are never told last names, and not supposed to know them. I hesitated to send this, but felt compelled. Your dad was such a generous spirited and happy man. His love of his surroundings, life, and mankind always shone through. Having him in any gathering just so much improved the events. I feel particularly blessed to have known him, if only for a short time. Just wanted you to know, that even in his final months, he was continuing to spread love and kindness.
