Obituary of Michael Murray
Entered into rest with family by his side at the Brockville General Hospital Garden Street Site on Sunday June 2, 2019. Michael Joseph Murray of North Augusta age 77 years. Beloved husband of Eleanor (Malanka) Murray. Loving father of Christine Murray (Brian Bax) and Dan Murray. Cherished grandfather of Ashley, Danielle (Gary MacDonald) and Daryka Murray, great grandfather of Dominic, Aubrey, Caroline MacDonald and Farrah Murray. Dear brother of David Murray (Carol), Sheila Murray (Andy) and his brother-in-law of Edward Malanka (Margo). Michael will be missed by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Michael and Margaret (Barnhardt) Murray.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Wednesday from 4 – 8 p.m., Thursday June 6, 2019 from 10 – 10:45 a.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be Celebrated in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. In memory of Michael, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by family.
