Obituary of Rick Olmstead

Peacefully with family by his side at Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Sunday April 7th, 2019. Richard Olmstead age 77 years. Beloved husband of Kay Olmstead.  Treasured father of Jeff (Brenna) Olmstead, Christy (Greg) Sharp and Sherri (Murray) McFaul. Cherished grandfather of McKenzie, Shayla, Josh, Rebecca, Madeline and Katie. Treasured brother to Laurie (Ron) and Marilyn. Rick is predeceased his parents Lionel and Frances, brother Bill and brother in law Don. Rick will be dearly missed by his Florida Family. Rick was also an avid member of the Rockport Breakfast Club, Gananoque Probes Club, he was a Kinsmen member for many years and a member of the Leeds & District Western Horse Club. Rick was known for his creative side and there really wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix or build, he enjoyed his antique cars and trucks.

Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 1033 Prince St., Lansdowne, on Wednesday April 10, 2019 from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 p.m.  Interment will be at a later date.
