Obituary of Velma Marie Grier

Entered into rest with family by her side at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Saturday November 3, 2018. Velma Marie (Horton) Grier of Lansdowne age 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert Grier, loving mother of Kay Caron, Bill Grier (Wendy) and Wanda MacKenzie (Tim Hallman). Cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Velma is survived by her sisters Adeline Abrahams, Ila Latimer, her sister-in-law Joan Horton and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Merlin and Florence (Summers) Horton, a sister Thelma Rogers and her brother Donald Horton.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Barclay Funeral Home, 1033 Prince Street, Lansdowne on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday November 6, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.
