Obituary of James Richard Cotie

Peacefully entered into rest with family by his side, on Thursday October 25, 2018 at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre. James Richard Cotie of Brockville age 52 years. Beloved husband of Karen (Armstrong) Cotie, loving father of Jade and Evan. James is survived by his brother John (Tammy), nephews Harper and Emerson, his mother-in-law Donna Armstrong, sister-in-law Shannon Shannon (Mike), uncle Allan Loney and his many friends. Lovingly remembered by special family friends Phillip and Tana Gilbert and family. Predeceased by his parents Dave and Bea (Whittle) Cotie, father-in-law Richard Armstrong and sister-in-law Kimberly Armstrong.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 2-4pm & 6-8 p.m. The Celebration of James’s Life will be held in the Chapel on Friday November 2, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Oakland Cemetery, at a later date.
