Entered into rest at the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital on Friday June 1, 2018. Carole Lorraine Brown (nee Smith) of Brockville aged 81 years. Beloved wife of the late Doug Brown. Loving mother of Marilyn Lane (Jim) of Maitland, Ray Brown (Heather), Steve Brown (Tracy) both of Brockville, Ken Brown(Pam) of North Augusta, Cheryl Brown, Wayne Brown (Linda) and Dave Brown, all of Brockville. Cherished grandmother of Jack, Michael and Pam LaSalle, Tyler and Cameron Brown, Amber Dawn and Sarah Brown, Katrina Brown, Dan and Matt Berry, Tony, Diana, Adam, Dougie and Josh Brown, Dave and Lisa Brown, Jesse and Daniel Sanderson. Great Grand-mother of Drew, Sidney, Gabrielle, Reece, Nathan, Jack Jr., Andrew, Alexandra, Gilbert, Aubree and Amelia. Dear sister of Patricia Barr, Ronald Smith (Dolores) and Daniel Smith. Also survived by a sister-in-law Viola Smith as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Daniel and Geraldine (Burns) Smith and siblings Betty and Art Pearce, Leona Maltwood, Basil Smith, Donald Smith and Charles Smith.
Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville, on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday June 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. In memory of Carole, donations to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, CHEO or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by family.
