Obituary of Edgar Donald Haws

Entered into rest at Maple View Lodge in Athens on Saturday April 21, 2018. Edgar Donald Haws of Mallorytown aged 88 years.  Beloved husband of the late Geraldine (nee Allen) Haws. Loving father of Kathy Chwalek (John) of Yonge Mills. Proud grandfather of Dawn McManus (Randy) and Great-grandfather of Alyssa, Tristan and Caleb.  Also missed by many nieces, nephews. Predeceased by his parents John and Bertha (Powell) Haws, a grand-daughter Sherri and siblings Mansell, Borden, Evalena and Lela.   

Family will receive friends at the Barclay Funeral Home, 1033 Prince Street, Lansdowne on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday April 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Escott Cemetery.  In memory of Edgar, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, CNIB or the charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
