Obituary of Mildred Grace Covill

Peacefully entered into rest at the Maple View Lodge, Athens on Wednesday March 14, 2018. Mildred (Halliday) Covill formerly of Brockville aged 97 years.  Beloved wife of the late Stephen Covill. Loving mother of Sylvia Kirkland (the late Raymond) of North Augusta and the late Gerald Covill (Carol) of Mallorytown. Cherished grandmother of Gregory Kirkland (Lisa) and Anthony Kirkland (Rose); and great grandmother to 5. Sister of the late Gordon, Russell and Omar Halliday, Velma Dolan and Doris Burns. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Dear daughter of the late James and Mary (Marshall) Halliday.  

Family will receive friends at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East Brockville on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday March 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Bissell Cemetery in the spring. In memory of Mildred, donations to the Maple View Lodge or the Alzheimer’s Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
