Obituary of Les Smith

Long time employee of Correctional Service of Canada entered into rest at his residence on Sunday March 11, 2018. Robert Leslie ‘Les’ Smith of Elgin in his 73rd  year, Beloved husband of Eva (Martin) Smith,  dear father of Chris Smith (Lisa), Mary-Anne Smith (Rob), special step father of John Caird (Kris), Del Caird (Karyn) and Steve Caird (Angie), cherished grandfather of Madison, Jack, Ashley, Shane, Jason, Alison, Evan, Rachel and Aleasha. He was predeceased by a son Bobby and his parents Hugh and Katherine (Pappas) Smith.  

A Celebration of Les’s Life will be held on Sunday May 6, 2018 at the Lansdowne Community Building, 1 Jessie Street Lansdowne from 1 -3 p.m. In memory of Les, donations to the Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
