Peacefully with his family by his side at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Sunday October 5, 2008. Rodney (Rod) Ivan Taber of Brockville (formerly of London and Mississauga) beloved husband of Shirley (Durrell) Taber. Dear father of Linda Humenick of Peterborough, Blain Taber of Brockville and Jeff Taber and his wife Kelly of Powell, Ohio. Loving grandfather of Jason Downey (Loraine) of Brockville, Matthew Downey of Peterborough, Justin Taber of Brockville, Corey and Bradley Taber both of Powell, Ohio. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Merrill and Diana (Johnson) Taber. Family and friends may at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday October 11, 2008 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Brockville.
