YATES, Lilian “Billie” Mary

Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Wednesday December 27th, 2017.  Billie (Sawyer) Yates of Brockville aged 98 years. Beloved wife of the late James Yates who predeceased her in 2002.  Loving mother of Peter Yates (Grace) of Calgary and the late Sarah Hudson.  Cherished grandmother Sean Hudson, Alexander, Bridgette and Kevin Yates.  Also remember by John Hudson of Oakland, California, Linda & Bruce Norris of Montreal, Heather Ouimette & Terry Wright of Ottawa, David Small of Ottawa and Susan Papageorgiou of Fredericton, their families and many friends. Billie was also predeceased by her parents Walter and Caroline (Turner) Sawyer.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life to be held at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Monday January 8th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  In memory of Billie, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
