Suddenly at the Brockville General Hospital Charles Street Site on Monday July 21, 2008. Dorothy Edna (Carr) Spence of Brockville aged 79 years. Dear mother of Michael Spence and his wife Myrna of Cornwall, also survived by Michael's dad Arnold Spence of Charleston Lake. Loving grandmother of David and Ashley. Dorothy is survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by a daughter Cindy, her parents Leonard and Gladys (Henry) Carr and 2 brothers Donald and Roger Carr and a dear friend Ray McCormick. A Private Family Service will be held at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville. Interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at a a later date. In memoriams to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
