Peacefully with her family by her side at the Kingston General Hospital, on Friday August 29, 2008. Doris Mary (Stewart) Fretwell of Brockville, aged 76 years. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Phillip Fretwell. Dear mother of Linda Goertzen and her husband Fred of Brockville and Carol Fretwell and her husband Michael of Kimberley, BC. Loving grandmother of Kirsten Brugma, Philip Brugma both of Ottawa, Alana Krushen of Kimberley,BC and Ryan Fretwell of Brockville. Also survived by a daughter-in-law Tracy Fretwell and a sister-in-law Marion Stewart both of Brockville. Predeceased by a son Kent Fretwell, her parents Charles Herbert Stewart and his wife Mildred (Pryer) Stewart and a brother William Herbert Stewart. At the request of Mrs. Fretwell a Private Family Serice will be held in the Chapel of the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery. In memoriams to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Brockville and District Humane Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
