Obituary of Francis Kenward Dumbrille

Francis Kenward Dumbrille (Ken) BSc, PEng. Graduate 1949 University of Toronto. Born May 14, 1926, in Brockville, died November 3, 2017, at St. Lawrence Lodge. Longtime resident of Maitland, longtime employee of Maitland Charts Ltd. and Graphic Controls Ltd., Ludlow Technical Services, Gananoque. Sailor, skier, cabinetmaker, gardener (planter not weeder), designer and builder of boat lifts, docks, furniture. Member Brockville Yacht Club, former member Royal St. Lawrence Yacht Club, JB Ski Club, Mont Tremblant QC. Survived by his wife Susanna Thompson, son Thomas Kenward Dumbrille (Laurie), daughter Susanna Bridge Lyon (Mark); six grandchildren Abby and Thomas Dumbrille, Andrew and Tanner Lyon, Cole and Wade Zanchetta: brother Richard (Sarah Jane). Cremation followed by committal at St. James cemetery, Maitland, summer 2018. Grateful for memorial donations to St. Lawrence Lodge.
