Obituary of Anthony Bakker

With loving family by his side, on July 20, 2017 at the age of 72. Dear father of Amy Szewczuk and husband Stephen, Jill Bakker and partner Jim Jacques, Andrew and partner Carly Wood. Cherished grandfather of Madeline and Charlotte. Dear brother of Ellie Hudson and husband David, Mary Jamieson and husband Rick. Tony will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and cousins. Fondly remembered by his former wife Judith Ann Bakker. Tony was an avid reader of the newspaper and his favourite authors. He loved taking long walks, watching his favourite sports teams and Juicy Fruit gum.

A private family service was held and cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Tony’s Life will be held in Brockville on Saturday July 29th, 2017 at Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville ON from 1-4pm with refreshments to be served.
