PHILLIPS, Della Elizabeth Reg. Nurse, Graduate of B.G.H. 1953 Passed away peacefully in the 87th year of a spirited and fun-filled life, surrounded by family on May 9th, 2017, at the Brockville General Hospital Charles St. Site. Beloved wife of the late John Phillips. Loving mother of Alan (Debbie), Mark (Gayle), Jacqueline (Derrick) and Marianne. Loving Grandmother of Connor, Marshall, Morgan, Vaughn, Evan, Don, Tabitha, Victoria and Jack. Della is predeceased by her parents John and Elizabeth Wright, and by her brothers and sisters, William John (late Glenna), Emma (late Earl), Cecil (late Grace), Edna (late Lorne), Charles, Josephine (late Jack), and James. She is survived by her closest friend, cousin and sister in spirit, Norma Noakes, of Brockville and Calgary, and sister-in-law, Shirley Wright of Blind River. Della is fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, in Jasper, Smiths Falls and across Canada. Born May 22, 1930 on a farm in Jasper, Della was always proud of her rural roots. She trained as a nurse at the Brockville General Hospital and was an honored graduate of the 1953 class, with whom she shared enduring friendships to the end!
