Passed away peacefully on August 2, 2008 at the Brockville General Hospital in his 96th year. Born in Kenora, Ontario on June 25, 1913, the only child of Laura and Hubert Galloway. Predeceased by his wife, Jean McInnes Galloway (nee Dowdell). Survived by three daughters and their families, Jacqueline Ann Jean Guthrie (Kent), Margaret Patricia Hardie (Al) and Linda Jean Galloway (Bogdan Radzikowski). Also survived by eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Stan was an avid live steam enthusiast who greatly enjoyed building and running his trains. After retirement from the Navy, he was Building Superintendent for the CN Building in Montreal. His last few years were greatly enhanced by the devoted staff at Sherwood Park Manor. A Graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens on Thursday August 7, 2008 at 2 p.m. In memoriams to the Charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
