EDWARDS, Raymond "Ray" Ross Peacefully entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital Garden St. Site on Friday February 3rd, 2017. Ray Edwards of Algonquin age 79 years. Beloved husband of Joanne (Brand) Edwards. Loving father of Lisa Edwards (Thomas Sutt) of Whitby and Daniel Edwards (Cindy) of Brockville. Cherished grandpa of Peter (Nastasha) and Matthew Edwards. Dear brother of Margaret Dennison of Orangeville, Sydney of Brampton, Gerald (Shirley) of Bobcaygeon and Tom (Linda) Edwards of Oxford Mills. Special uncle of Paul (Dana) of Pontypool, ON and David (Lisa) Edwards of Algonquin. Ray will also be missed by several other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Ross and Violet (Smith) Edwards and brothers John (Carol) and David Edwards. Family will receive friends at the Algonquin United Church, 4524 County Road, Algonquin on Wednesday February 8th from 11 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Interment at Bissell Cemetery to be announced at a later date. In memory of Ray donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Brockville District Hospital Foundation Cardiovascular Program would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
