Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Friday January 27th, 2017. Davidson Bennett “Dave” Muir of Brockville aged 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (Carley) Muir, father of Bruce Muir of Kingston, Peter Muir (Gayle) of Rhode Island and survived by daughter-in-law Cathy Muir of Kingston. Proud grandpa of Andrew Muir (Judy)of Branford, Beth Muir (Adrian Tyman ) of Brockville, Michael Muir of Toronto, Alexander Muir (Vivienne) of Hong Kong, Gordon Muir of Rhode Island and Great-grandpa of Jack, Layla, Sam and Evan. David is also survived by his brother Bryce Muir of Vancouver, sister-in-law Grayce Muir of Jasper . David was pre-deceased by a brother Robert and a sister Babs McKenzie-Weber. Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street E., Brockville on Thursday February 2nd. 2017 from 2-5 p.m. Interment Oakland Cemetery at a later date.
