Tribute to My Friend "Queenie" " Let God...and Let Go"
And God spoke:
"To eveyrthing there is a "Season" and a time to every purpose under The Heaven.
A time to be born a time to die,
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted,
A time to kill and a time to heal,
A time to break down and a time to build up,
A time to weep, a time to laugh, a time to mourn, a time to dance,
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together,
A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing,
A time to get and a time to lose, a time to keep, and a time to cast away,
A time to keep silence and a time to speak;
A time to Love and a time to hate, a time of war, and a time of peace, and a time to sew,
_________________________
And now it s time to "Let God....and Let Go."
God lead "Her" one who deserves to be led
Let Our Special One Grow!"
Let God do all that was willed of "Her"
Let us "Let God and Let Go."
We are saddened by this departure
May our selfishness dissolve,
Lesson Our Tears of Sorrow, bring joy to our hearts,
Help us to understand that all good is yet to evolve.
She was "Sent By" for a short while,
To plant numerous seeds and to help us grow,
Look all around you; See how they have flourished;
"How Can We Not ..Let God and Let Go?"
This Special One "Queenie" came to us with Special Gifts..
God Must of Had Good Reason..For He brought the Greatest Gifts of Love..
"It is a Time for good purpose; "Another Special Season!"
Carry Her, Teach Her, Guide HER,
As She makes Her way..This is God's Will...It Will Be Done,
It truly is a extraordinarily very "Special Day."
We will pray for you "Queenie",
In our hearts you will forever be,
Tucked ever so delicately and faithfully, Right Where God wants You to Be!
"We Love You Queenie"..This you must forever know,
We will Trust God,....So Let Us "Let God..and Let Go'"

It is very sad to hear of Lynn's passing. She had a heart of gold and a wonderful, kind and caring personality. And she loved to laugh. I met Lynn through my association with St. Lawrence College and Lynn's many friends there, especially Joe and Debbie Jordon. We had many fun evenings together. After my Father passed away, Lynn was a great friend to my Mother who lived in Brockville. My Mom thought Lynn was the best, and she was. I hope Lynn's family can find some comfort knowing that so many people thought your Mom was just an amazing woman. We are all richer having known her and shared time with her.
With very fond memories of Lynn, Rick Powers

Deepest sympathies to Lynn's family - she was a real champion!
One only needs to read through the beautiful messages posted to understand what a fantastic lady Lynn Walker was. Both Gord and I had the privilege to work and volunteer with Lynn and are honoured to call her a good friend.
As a Mom, she absolutely adored her boys and "grandbabies".
As an employee (work colleague), the consummate professional in everything she did.
As a volunteer, her sense of commitment barely describes the lengths Lynn would go to support the events she believed in.
As a friend, loyal, fun and oh, so thoughtful.
We shared so many laughs over the years, especially on the Hill and in the "constit" taking care of "the people". We always managed to have a chuckle at the end of the day regardless of how challenging it could be.
Lynn...we will miss you very much but know when we meet again, you'll have plenty of new stories to share and laugh about.
Due to a wedding out of town this weekend, we cannot share memories on Saturday but rest assured, our table of Brockvillians will be giving you a proper Toast (with a glass of white wine on lots of ice!)

Jason, Darren and families - Your mother Lynn was an amazing woman who always had time for a good laugh with her friends and colleagues. She was most helpful to me in several situations when she was working as MP Joe Jordan's Executive Assistant. Lynn was a caring, supportive, smart person who helped so many people in her different careers and community volunteering.
May she rest in the arms of our Lord.

My deepest condolences to Lynn's family and close friends. I had occasion to meet Lynn early on in my career at St. Lawrence College. Always the consummate professional ...when I think of Lynn words and phrases like candor, strength, and "a straight shooter" come to mind. Always willing to help she had a quick wit and she earned my respect quickly. Throughout the years her job descriptions and titles changed but Lynn never did. Beautiful inside and out! Please know that I will miss her but I will never forget her. She had an impact!

I met Lynn through Riverfest and her many years of dedication to keeping it running. With her elegance she duped me into joining, in hind sight I am glad she did. Lynn along with a few key people were the back bone that worked endlessly to keep something going that she believed in. It was a tight group that also enjoyed each other socially. Her laugh was infectious and will be what I remember about Lynn. She had a way of making you feel special when you met her each time. She will be missed

I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to Lynn's family. There's such a sense of helplessness when someone we love dies. I'd like to share some scriptural thoughts that really helps me. Prayer is so valuable at this time but it's not that prayer simply makes us feel better. 2 Cor.4:7 says that God can give us, "... power beyond what is normal ", to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that we no longer cry or that we forget, but it means we recover. The reason we recover is because of our hope. Jesus Christ talked about our hope in John 5:28, "... all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out ". Jesus was referring to the resurrection, this is our hope. 2 Cor.1:3 describes our Creator as, "... the God of all comfort ". One way that God comforts us is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. May the God of comfort (Ps.83:18) be your comfort now during this time of sorrow.

Lynsky had to endure her share of heartache - as all of us mortals will have to at some point. However, she handled herself with grace and dignity at all times. I will never forget her laugh or the support that she gave me at the time of Dave's accident. And the poor woman had to endure my husband for many, many years and all of his hockey players.
She was a saint. And she never complained about the chaos, In fact, she thrived on it.
Darren and Jason - she loved you both so much. You have been so supportive of your mother on this journey over the past year. It has been difficult to accept the diagnosis, the time to travel to appointments and meetings. And the time away from your employers and family. But you were able to let her pass on her own terms and you were with her. That is what counts. Your mother has always been so proud of you and with good reason.
Please let me know if I can do anything to help out. Lynn will always be in my memories.
Marilyn
