Dear Munro Family, as a child your family was very good to me when I lived in Brockville and went to school with Tom. May I express sadness at your loss. And wish all of your family members the best.

I had the privilege of spending a lot of my Youth with Pete. He was a fabulous guy and a lot of fun to be around. He had some qualities that made him unique (the raising eyebrow, the smile that could get away with most anything, and the fact he could drive anything and drive it well).
I was saddened to hear of his sudden passing; but he left memories for all of us that will last a life time. Some of my fondest were:
- The biggest car on the road
- Cliff jumping at the St. Lawrence
- The "big fish" that didn't get away
- The sailing excursion
- The ride at Niagara
- Wearing out that dire straits album (Money for nothing)
The list goes on and on, but the very best thing you left behind was examples for all of us of a great father, courage, a friend, and a kind and caring human being.
May God grant you eternal rest and comfort for your soul, you deserve it.
For the good times Pete, you will never be forgotten. - Derrick & Tina

Still living in the neighborhood, when I walk by the Munro homestead on Park street a flood of fun childhood memories return. Seeing the big car in the driveway was always a conversation in itself. I am so sorry for you loss but am grateful to have known Peter. I hope all your memories are good ones and stay with you always.

To Victoria, Fred, Tanya and the entire Munro family:
Peter's passing took us all by surprise, especially because of the confidence and faith that he had that he would recover.
Peter is a rare gem in the treasure-chest of humanity. He is a man who was completely selfless, and despite any hardship he was going through, was always offering to help someone else. He lived his Christian faith daily, in his actions. He will be sorely missed, but he will never be forgotten.
While his body gave out, his spirit lives on in the kingdom of heaven, where he has rejoined his parents, and continues to watch down on all of us.
On behalf of both Mishelle and myself, we send our most sincere condolences, and encourage you to honour and remember his life by continuing his daily Christian work.

Dear Victoria, Fred & Tanya, & Peter's extended family,
I had the pleasure of working with Peter over the past 2 years. There was never a day he didn't greet me with a smile, no matter how he was feeling. I have missed his habit of coming to me once a day with some bad joke or out-there story he had heard or found on the internet. I will remember him for his kind and gentle spirit and his ability to make me laugh even when neither of us thought we were in the mood. Please know our prayers and thoughts are with you.
In deepest sympathy,
Tanya, Brooke and Morgan Beauvais-Hutton

Peter was such an enigma in school. You never knew what he was thinking.
The pictures he posted on the Brockville Facebook page, made me feel like I still lived there.
My thoughts are with his family.
