Entered into rest with family by her side at her residence on Sunday July 17, 2016 Sia Syrios of Brockville aged 77 years, beloved wife of the late Christos Syrios, dear mother of Toula Smith (Brian) of Victoria BC, Lori Teskey (Luke) of Brockville and Louise Issa (John) of Ottawa, loving grandmother of Semele, Caelan, Alexander, Nicholas and Christopher. Sia is survived by her brother Ted Panopoulou (Bessie) of Brockville and a sister Georgia Gogos of Montreal and Several Nieces and Nephews. Predeceased by her parents Tom and Georgia (Antonopoulou) Panopoulou and a sister Panagiota Panopoulou and a brother in-law George Gogos. A Private Family Funeral Liturgy was held at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville. Interment followed at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. In memory of Sia, donations to Ovarian Cancer research or the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
