Entered into rest at the Carveth Care Centre, Gananoque on Monday July 11, 2016, Ethel Elva (Andress) Johnston of Rockport aged 99 years. Beloved wife of the late Donald Andress, dear mother of Eddy Johnston (Betty) of Ardoch, Dick Johnston (Judy) of Rockport, Elaine Johnston (Guy Villebrun) of Redlake, AB, Wendy Merkley (Art) and Eugene Johnston (Donna) all of Rockport. Loving grandmother of Kathy Davis (John), Penny Hawley, Bill Johnston (Lisa), Chuck Johnston , Laura Johnston, Angela Hodge (Jim), Annette McLaren, Jennifer Pauzé and Stephanie Dennison (Tim). Ethel is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, her special niece Marjorie Cromwell and will be deeply missed by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son Douglas Johnston, her parents William Edward and Edna (Root) Andress and her brother Elmer Andress. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Barclay Funeral Home, Lansdowne on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the Lansdowne United Church on Thursday July 14, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Rockport Cemetery.
