PHILLIPS, Arthur Gordon On December 1, 2015 Art Phillips of Lansdowne passed away suddenly after a brief illness. He was predeceased by his best friend and wife, Lois, in 2013. Art's legendary wit and wisdom will be sorely missed by his children, Cathy of Gananoque, Steven (Cheryl) of Yarker, and David (Michelle) of Lansdowne. Art will be forever missed by his grandsons Ryan (Anna), Scott, Matt, Jason and Kyle. Art was predeceased by his parents Margaret and L.S. Phillips, his sister Elinor Curtis and brother Ed Phillips. The streets of Gananoque will not be the same without Art's black corvette, and his usual parking spot in front of Moroni's will seem particularly empty now.
