Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Thursday November 27, 2008. Winnifred Bass of Mallorytown age 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Harper Bass. Dear mother of William Bass(Kay) of Mallorytown and Hilda Talboys (Roy) of Lyndhurst. Grandmother of Richard Talboys of Toronto, Jeff Talboys (Evelyn and Kim) of Narrows Locke, William Bass (Wendy) and Susan MacKenzie both of Okatoks, Alberta. Mrs. Bass is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren as well as 2 brothers Don and Ted Lockhart and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Bill Lockhart, Toots Farrell, Goldy Lockhart and Mavis Garau. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, Lansdowne on Friday December 5, 2008 from 10 - 11 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Rockport Cemetery.
