Peacefully at the Sherwood Park Manor Nursing Home on Saturday January 17, 2009 in her 87th years, beloved wife of Irving Albert Smith of Brockville. She is also survived by one sister, Eleanor Easton and her husband Fred and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Clifford Bogert and his wife Marion and her sister Gladys Amyotte and her husband Rolly. Marjorie was born in Athens, Ontario and attended Athens Public School and graduated from Athens District High School. She married Irving Smith on August 7, 1951. She was employed at John B. Stetson Hat Company for 29 years and also worked at Lipsons Store as a sales clerk and later as a co-manager. At the request of her family, there will be no visitation or funeral. A private burial will take place in the Spring. In her memory, donations may be made to the Sherwood Park Manor. Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville entrusted with the arrangements.
