HARDING, Arthur David Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital Garden Street Site on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, in the presence of his wife and sons; Arthur David Harding of Mallorytown, aged 72 years. Considerate, loving husband of Mary (Simnett) Harding. Proud father of Matthew (Andrea) of Ottawa, Joseph (Sharlene) of Winnipeg and David (Megan) of Ottawa. A fun Grandpa to Kelsae, Liam, Ethan and Charlotte; Kingston and Saba; and Roberta, Silas and Felicity. Brother of Robin (Janis) Harding and Jennifer Grant (Michael); and brother-in-law of Jean Brown (Ken), all of England. Son of the late Arthur and Jeanne (Brookman) Harding. Arthur was a Civil Engineer/Geologist who brought his family to Canada from England in 1976. He worked around the world, in Afghanistan, Nigeria, Indonesia, Korea and the Congo, before settling in rural Ontario on his 57 acres to enjoy retirement. Family and friends are invited to the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Saturday, July 18th, 2015 from 9 - 11am. A Memorial Service to celebrate Arthur’s life will be held St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Caintown on Saturday, July 18th, 2015 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brockville District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care in memory of Arthur would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
