Entered into rest peacefully with her family by her side at the Brockville Mental Health Facility on Tuesday, November 18, 2008. The former Valma Dorothy Blackwell of Brockville age 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Wallace. Dear mother of Suzanne Gibson and mother-in-law of Beatrice Wallace both of Brockville. Loving grandmother of Laurie Ross (Rob), Wallace Gibson, Norman Gibson (Heather), Tina Atchison (Pierre-Alain), Shane Wallace, Ainsleey Worden (Terry) and Nathan Wallace, great-grandmother of Brian Wallace, Shelby Ross, Sophia, Sebastien and Dante Atchison and Alexandra Gibson. Also survived by a sister-in-law Dolly Blackwell. Predeceased by her son Donald Wallace, her son-in-law Norman Gibson and siblings Frances, Beatrice, Rhoda, Alva, Kathleen, Florence and Fred. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street, East, Brockville on Saturday from 12 noon - 1:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 1;30 p.m. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
