The loss of Eric and Ellen has been difficult for us. They've been part of Ian's life for over 60yrs. Eric's love for Ian's grandma and grandad and for his father,Alan, have been the foundation for Ian's and ,subsequently,Lesley's,closeness to both Eric and Ellen.Indeed,they were a special couple,held in high regard for their commitment to and love for each other and for their achievement in so many areas.They are a great loss to us over here in England and we will miss them very much.
You can kiss your family and friends goodbye and put miles between you but,at the same time,you carry them with you in your heart,your mind,your stomach because you do not just live in a world but a world lives in you.
