Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital Garden Street Site on Wednesday June 11, 2014. Douglas Lewis Brayton of Brockville age 75 years. Doug is survived by his granddaughter Amanda Harper and great grandson Landon Harper, his sisters Patricia Landon (Dwight), Wanda Shewan (Tom), Ruth Bois D’Enghien, Shirley Jackson (Ted), Roger Brayton (Sharron) all of Brockville and Harold Brayton of Sarnia as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Tana Harper, his parents Carson and Isabel (Twa) Brayton, a sister Elizabeth Brayton, a brother Gerald and infant brothers Edward and George as well as his partner Vi Nedow. Cremation will take place with interment at a later date. In memory of Doug, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Brockville and District Humane Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
