Beloved husband of the former Dorothy Jane Beaupre. Dear Dad of Penny Sands (David) of Kanata and Wendy Perkins (Brian) of Brockville. Loving Pop of Travis (Michelle), Drew, Jordan, Dustin and Devon. Great-Pop of Avery, Emily and Madison. Also survived by siblings Earl Sands (Marge), Audrey Healey, Betty Bouchard (Jake), Garnet Sands (Ruby), Clara Woods (Bill), Wayne Sands and Sandra Cleveland , a former son-in-law Stan Wong, also survived by Mrs. Sands' siblings and their families as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his parents Charles and Ida Belle (Covey) Sands and a brother Charles. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday April 7, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
