Peacefully, with family by his side at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Tuesday December 21, 2010. Garnet Ray Kirker of Brockville, age 86 years. Beloved husband of Margaret Eileen (Forbes) Kirker and the late Betty Marie (Adams) Kirker. Step-father of Carol Healy (Ron) of Brockville, also survived by a step-son –in-law Barry Clark of Victoria BC. Loving grandfather of Scott Healy (Michelle) of Rossland BC, Tara Atkins (Charles) of Fort McMurray, AB, Brad Clark (Jody) of Victoria BC, Sara Long (Damien) of Georgetown. Great-grandfather of MacKenzie, Addison, Nate, Ruby, Finley, Ava and Aislynn. Survived by a brother Roy Kirker (Lorna) a niece Wendy Pridy (Ray) and a nephew Bruce Kirker all of Courtenay BC, a sister-in-law Hazel Place of Prescott, nephews Eric Place of Prescott and Alton Place of Iroquois. Pre-deceased by a step-daughter Judy Clark, a sister Irma, a brother Harry killed in France during the 2nd. World War and a brother-in-law Glen Adams. At the request of Garnet there will be no visitation or Service. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
