Peacefully, at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Wednesday January 12, 2011. John Hugh Ker of Brockville age 88 years, beloved husband of the late Mary Irene (Donovan) Ker. Dear father of John Ker (Kristine) of Brockville and his daughter in law Connie Ker of R.R.#1 Lyndhurst. Loving grandfather of Jason Ker (Megan) of Barrie, Duncan Ker of Brockville, Ashley Ker and Rosalind Ker (Chris) all of Ottawa as well as a great-granddaughter Teren Ker. Hugh is survived by his brother Bruce Ker of Brockville as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by 2 sons Thomas in infancy, Jim Ker, his parents JohnW. and Myrtle Eva (Dewar) Ker. A Celebration of Hugh’s Life and a reception will take place at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Monday January 17, 2011 from 3 - 5 p.m. Interment will take place at Oakland Cemetery at a later date.
