Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital Charles Street Site on Tuesday April 12, 2011. George Frederick Poole of Brockville age 90 years, beloved husband of the late Mary (Turner) Poole, dear father of John Poole (Betty) of Brockville and David Poole (Linda) of Elizabethtown. Loving grandfather of Chris Poole (Alicia) of Ottawa, Kevin Poole (Sherry) of Brockville, Tammy Winters (Shawn) of Georgetown, Amanda VanSickle (Noah) of Milton and Matthew Poole (Cary) of Brampton. Mr. Poole is survived by 8 great grandchildren, his dear friend Vivian Livingstone of Brockville, a niece June Speer (Bob) and a nephew Edward Fulford (Brenda) all of Athens. Predeceased by his parents John Henry and Rosina Mary (Benson) Poole and his sister Margaret Poole. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday April 16, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
