Entered into rest, with family by his side, at the Brockville General Hospital Charles Street Site, on Saturday July 23, 2011. Charles Osborne Slack of Lyn, age 72 years. Beloved husband of Marilyn (Swerdfeger) Slack. Dear dad of Jamie, and step-father of Michelle, Robin, Shelly (Kevin), Darren and James (Cathy). Survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Brother of Marjorie (Alex), Jim (Wendy) and brother-in-law of Carolyn (Phil). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East Brockville on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday July 28, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland. In lieu of flowers, in memoriams to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
