The family of Paul Ernest Burns sadly announce his passing at age 74 at the Kingston General Hospital on Monday July 25, 2011. Paul was predeceased by his parents Milton and Helen (Moore) Burns, his brother Robert and a brother in-law Jim Funnell all of Lansdowne. Paul leaves his siblings Joy Reed (Blain) of Gananoque, Lloyd Burns (Dorothy) of Perth, Dorothy Funnell of Lansdowne, Bessie Burns of Kingston, Keith Burns (Joan) of Lansdowne and his sister-in-law Beth Burns of Lansdowne and several loving nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 1033 Prince Street, Lansdowne on Tuesday August 2, 2011 from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Following the visitation a Graveside Service and Committal for Paul will be held at Union Cemetery, Lansdowne at 2 p.m. Anyone wishing to make a donation in memory of Paul is invited to consider the RESIDENTS CHARITABLE FOUNDATION, care of Carveth Care Centre, 375 James St. Gananoque, ON K7G 2Z1.
