Peacefully at home with family by her side on Monday August 8, 2011. Judith Anne (Barber) Carkner of Athens age 60 years. Beloved wife of Allan Carkner, loving mother of Neil Carkner (Shannon), Ken Carkner (Laurie) all of Mallorytown, Pam Taylor (Rick) of Lyndhurst, Heather Dowdall (Jeff) of Brockville and Kate Carkner- Hutchings (Jason) of Portland. Cherished grandmother of Brittany, Kaleb, Alexandra and Regan Carkner, Rob, Emily and Matthew Carkner, Rena and Cassie Taylor and Madison Dowdall. Anne is survived by 2 sisters, 7 brothers and 2 brothers in-law as well as several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the Highway Pentecostal Church on Friday August 12, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Glen Elbe Cemetery.
