Entered into rest at the Wedgewood in Brockville on Saturday December 31, 2011, Gerald Joseph Benoit of Brockville age 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Helen (Johnston) Benoit. Dear father of James Benoit and his wife Lynn of Brockville, loving grandfather to Steven Benoit, Christine Sluytman (Jerry), Cathy Manoll and great grandfather to Kyle, Jessica, Amanda and Emily Benoit, Morgan and Ashley Sluytman and Roger and Royal Manoll. Also survived by his sisters Lia Fournier, Claire Collison and a brother George Benoit. Gerald is predeceased by a son Roger, a grandson Jeff and a brother Onie. Family and friends called at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Wednesday January 4, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy was held in the Chapel ay 12:30 p.m. Interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
