With great love and wonderful memories, Francis' family announces he entered into the Lords hands on Wednesday March 18, 2009. He was born October 25, 1930, raised on the family homestead in Escott. Son of the late Fredrick Gifford Powell and Mary Elizabeth Nash. Beloved husband and love of his life to Rose (Kleinsteuber) of 54 years. Cherished father of Nancy, David, Dan, Kelly, Norma, Tanya and Esther. Grandfather of Nelson, Ian, Elizabeth, Leah, Samantha, Tyson, Victoria, Greg, Tyler, Tony, Jennifer, Tara, Matt and Tiffany. He lived and enjoyed having around him his great-grandchildren, Kayden, Oliver, Brandon and Emily. He was predeceased by his sisters Evelina and Rose, step-brothers Clarence, Leland, Arthur, Herb and Howard. Upon Francis' wishes there will be no visitation, Private Interment and Celebration of his Life will be at a later date.
