Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on April 25, 2009, after a short battle with cancer. Born on January 1, 1935 in Westbury Quebec. Loving companion and friend of Carolyn (Elliott). Dear father of Wayne and his friend Monica, Carl and special daughter-in-law Debbie, Carolyn's sons Stephen (Laurie), Mark (Jennifer) all of Brockville, Shawn (Karen) of Orangeville. Grandfather of Julia, Jenna, Lori and Carolyn's grandchildren Dayne, Evan, Madeleine, Kaitlyn, Arden and Emily. Brother of Vivian Quinn (Gerald) of Brockville, Percy and Muriel of North Augusta. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Matthew and Irene (McCune), 8 brothers and a sister. He also leaves behind his two fishing buddies Don Catellier (Trump) and Mike Stevens, also his two favourite 4 legged friends Sadie and Tobey. At the request of Albert there will be no Visitation or Service, but a Reception for family and friends will be held at the Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Saturday May 2, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. Donations to the Kingston General Hospital Cancer Clinic would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
