Passed away peacefully with family by her side, at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Thursday October 4, 2012. Betty Gertrude (Jacob) Ireland of Brockville age 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Ireland. Loving mother of Richard (Rick) Paquin (Laura) of Brockville and the late Robert Paquin. Cherished grandmother of Robin Hilton (Tina), Jamie Paquin (Nozomi), Chris Paquin (Mary), Sarah Paquin (Liz), Ericka Paquin, Codie Paquin-Francois (Dan), Christa Paquin-Hammond (Jeremy), Renée Paquin (Steve) and great-grandmother of Darius Paquin, Corey Hilton, Evan Hilton, Lucas Higgins-Paquin, Mathijs Paquin, Reese Hammond and Adria Hammond. Predeceased by a grandson Robbie Paquin her parents William Francis and Lucy Ellen (Moore) Jacob, 2 brothers Clifford Jacob and Herbert Jacob. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday October 10, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery, Maitland.
