Peacefully, with his family by his side at the Brockville General Hospital Charles Street Site on Tuesday November 27th. 2012. Cecil Reginald Brown of Brockville, age 86 years. Husband of Renate Lexmond and the late Marion Fern Brown. Loving dad of Catherine Maddox (William) of Belleville, Margaret Brown of Brockville and Murray Brown (Carol) of Belleville. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas and Hilary Maddox, Stephen and Rebecca Brown. Brother of Velma Wright of Beaverton, Betty Cross (Milton) of Restoule ON and Ruth King of Owen Sound. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his parents Jack and Clara (Karn) Brown, brothers Clarence in infancy, Larry, Melville, Leslie, Gordon and sisters Gladys Wardell and Grace Cooley. A Memorial Service for Mr. Brown will be held at St. John’s United Church, (corner of King and Park St.) Brockville on Sunday December 9th. 2012 at 2 p.m. A reception to follow in the Church Hall. Interment will be at Belleville Cemetery at a later date.
