Peacefully, at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Thursday February 26th, 2009 after a short illness. Arthur Stanley Eldon Burns of Brockville age 45 years. Beloved son of Muriel (Hitchcock) Burns and the late James (Jim) Burns. Dear brother of Dave Burns and his wife Melanie of North Augusta and Miriam McInnes of Brockville. Uncle of Emily Goodknecht (David), Natalie Burns, Joel McInnes and Luke McInnes. Also survived by his uncle Major Retired Robert Burns and his wife Theda of Brockville and cousins Stephen Burns and his wife Shefali and their children Christopher and Amanda, Trudy and and Shirley Hornick. Predeceased by his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandparents. At Arthur's request, there will be no visitation or service at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at a later date. In memroiams to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Brockville and District Humane Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
